The ESG Chapter at SIUE is sponsoring a 5K to promote Be The Match, a non-profit organization that saves lives by providing cures to blood cancer patients. 

Please come out and support our efforts to save lives!  We are working very hard to generate awareness about the importance of joining the Be The Match Registry.  12,000 patients each year in the US are diagnosed with life-threatening diseases like Leukemia, Lymphoma & Sickle Cell disease.  A bone marrow transplant is often the best or only option for a CURE.  30% of patients will have a related donor match, 70% will rely on our registry to find a donor for a life-saving transplant!   Be The Match connects patients with their donor for a life-saving transplant.  Our mission is to grow the registry with the best potential donors, generate awareness about the importance of joining the Be The Match Registry and to raise funds to support growing the registry and to help transplant patients

We invite you to come have some fun at the Be The Match On Campus SIUE 5K event!  Your support will help grow the registry, adding more potential donors for searching patients in need of a transplant.  We thank you for joining us in our effort to SAVE LIVES!!
