March
My wife, Amy Strelzer Manasevit, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. Her transplant was successful but she passed away at the age of 35 due to complications after returning home to me and our two daughters, Lauren and Margot. Before her death, Amy asked us to help find ways to make it easier for future patients suffering from her condition. We developed a research program in her honor that has funded dozens of "Amy Scholars" who are finding solutions for post-transplant complications.
We dedicate March 22 to honor her memory.
