For critically ill patients with leukemia, lymphoma, sickle cell anemia, or other blood diseases, a marrow transplant is the only cure. Most patients do not find a match within their family. 70% rely on a total stranger to donate to them. Be The Match is the database that manages the nation’s bone marrow donor and umbilical cord blood registry. Ultimately, Be The Match connects patients with their life-saving marrow donor.
Please help us save lives by becoming part of the Be The Match Registry at our event. Paperwork, a cheek swab, and about 10 minutes is all it takes to join. The odds of donating to someone are less than 1% and the donation process is not painful. For most donors, it is done through your blood using two IVs.
You could be the CURE to someone’s blood cancer!
Make A Donation
Be The Match relies on our support to collect contributions from people like you so that it can further its mission. Donations are used to support adding more potential donors to the Be The Match Registry, to advance research, and to assist patients with the cost of the transplant process. Please consider making a donation to support our event. Any contribution is greatly appreciated and will help save lives!
To make a donation online, click "Make A Gift” on the top of this page.
If you prefer to mail in a donation, please send your check made out to "Be The Match Foundation" with "Bobcats Save Lives" in the memo line to:

Join the Registry
Please help add more potential donors into the Be The Match Registry. All it takes to join the Be The Match Registry is paperwork and a simple swab with a Q-tip! You may never get called to donate, but if you do, it could be potentially lifesaving for someone. We would like to recruit as many new members into the Be The Match Registry as possible. You must be between the ages of 18 – 44, willing to donate to anyone in need, and in general good health to join.
