Quade "Q" Marks is 9 and in the 3rd grade. He is a fighter and has no fear. He is an aggressive defensiveman for the Stapleton Jets Lacrosse team and competes on Team Summit snowboard team in Breckenridge. He is always striving to go faster, higher, and stronger and he now bravely faces his toughest challenge; on April 15, 2016, Quade was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.
Quade is currently undergoing chemotherapy and will require a bone marrow transplant later in the year. The outpouring of support for Q, our 10-year old daughter Lainey, and our family has been amazing. We wanted to funnel that support to bring awareness and encourage donations to Be The Match Foundations to raise critical funds for patients, like Quade, in need of a marrow transplant.
Your gift can add new potential marrow donors to the registry, assist patients with uninsured transplant costs and fund innovative research to improve transplant outcomes.
Did you know?
A marrow transplant can be a life-saving treatment for more than 70 diseases including leukemia, lymphoma and sickle cell. Seventy percent of patients do not have a matching donor in their family. They depend on Be The Match to find an unrelated marrow donor and receive the transplant they need.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal by making a tax-deductible contribution. Your gift delivers cures to patients desperate for a second chance at life. Every dollar counts. Together, we can make a difference!
