My personal committment to fundraising for Team Be The Match was inspired by my introduction to two amazing families and their three little boys; brothers Andrew and Matthew, and Liam. All three boys were diagnosed with an extremely rare pediatric disease called primary hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, or primary HLH, for which the curative treatment is stem cell transplant. Sadly, Andrew and Matthew did not survive post-transplant and Liam died from his disease before a match was ever found. This page is my small effort to honor the lives of those beautiful young boys and support the ongoing advocacy work of their loving parents.
Your gift can add new potential blood stem cell donors to the registry, assist patients with uninsured transplant costs, and fund innovative research to improve transplant outcomes.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal to honor the lives of Andrew, Matthew and Liam by making a tax-deductible contribution. Your gift delivers cures to patients desperate for a second chance at life. No gift is too small. Together, we can make a difference for patients and families!
