Once running results are final, winners will be announced and prizes will be available for pickup at the Information Tent.
Specialty bibs are available for marrow donors, transplant recipients and supporters who are participating in honor or memory of a special person. Pick up your bib at the Be The Match Tent in the Event Village.

Groove is a Dance, Fitness and Education company with 30+ classes/week for kids
and adults. They have been featured on NBC, ABC, FOX, Elle Magazine,
Nielsen Media, WCIU, Sun Times and more. Their professional dance team has
performed at Navy Pier, Millennium Park, Ruth Page, Montrose, Museum of
Contemporary Art and the opening of Chicago’s Summerdance festival. Their

1K and 5K routes are along the paved
running/biking Lakefront Trail starting near Upper Hutchinson Field. While
there are no vehicles on this trail system, it is open to the public and is
popular with joggers & cyclists. Please be courteous to other runners,
walkers, and cyclists by staying on your right, especially if you are
accompanied by children and/or have strollers. There are two points where
the route crosses the street, so traffic

We are looking for volunteer leaders! Be part of the Local Organizing Committee that is dedicated to helping the event reach its goals in order to save more lives. Committee members serve as ambassadors of Be The Match, lead fundraising efforts for the Walk+Run, and promote the Walk+Run in the local community. No experience is necessary.
You can also help us get the word out about your participation in the Be The Match Walk+Run. Build awareness and help boost the funds you raise by spreading the word to your social networks or by posting event posters and postcards in your community.

parking is available on Columbus Drive between Roosevelt and Jackson. Please
pay close attention to any posted signage and make sure to pay for parking at
designated kiosks. In some cases the kiosk may be located further down the
street. Participants are also encouraged to consider public
transportation. There is a CTA stop at Roosevelt (Green/Orange/Red Line). The
event site is about .6 miles from Roosevelt.
