pickup or on the morning of event day (we accept cash, check, or credit card

Once running results are final, winners will be announced and prizes will be available for pickup at the Information Tent.
Specialty bibs are available for marrow donors, transplant recipients and supporters who are participating in honor or memory of a special person. Pick up your bib at the Be The Match Tent in the Event Village.
Please note: We do not offer a bag drop. Please leave any items you don’t want to carry in a secure location.
1K and 5K routes in Charlotte are using the paved streets surrounding the
University Research Park. Local police will manage the street traffic and our
race participants through partial road closure, until after our runners/walkers
pass. Please be mindful of traffic and remain within the designated running
area/lane, paying attention to all directions provided. In addition to police
support, signage and course marshals will
be along the route to provide guidance.

Burro to re-fuel with some delicious Tex-Mex cuisine and your cold beverage
of choice. Be sure to stop by the Information Tent to pick up your coupon for
20% off – it’s good for the entire day! The Tipsy Burro will be opening one
hour early for us at 11:00 am for this post-race gathering.

We are looking for volunteer leaders! Be part of the Local Organizing Committee that is dedicated to helping the event reach its goals in order to save more lives. Committee members serve as ambassadors of Be The Match, lead fundraising efforts for the Walk+Run, and promote the Walk+Run in the local community. No experience is necessary.
You can also help us get the word out about your participation in the Be The Match Walk+Run. Build awareness and help boost the funds you raise by spreading the word to your social networks or by posting event posters and postcards in your community.

parking available at the race site. Parking is limited, so when possible,
please consider carpooling. Participant parking will be well marked;
please follow directional signage upon arriving.
