Community Outreach:

We are looking for volunteer leaders! Be part of the Local Organizing Committee that is dedicated to helping the event reach its goals in order to save more lives. Committee members serve as ambassadors of Be The Match, lead fundraising efforts for the Walk+Run, and promote the Walk+Run in the local community. No experience is necessary.

You can also help us get the word out about your participation in the Be The Match Walk+Run. Build awareness and help boost the funds you raise by spreading the word to your social networks or by posting event posters and postcards in your community.

Contact Angie Larson at angela.larson@nmdp.org  for more information about the committee or to request posters and/or postcards.

Parking Information:

Participants will find parking along the neighborhood streets surrounding Lake Harriet and along Lake Harriet Parkway. While there are two small parking lots adjacent to Lake Harriet, they are reserved for those with passes. Please allow extra time for parking, because you may need to walk several blocks to get to the event village.

If you are in need of handicap parking we do have a limited amount of spots available. Email Nicole Kersting at nicole.kersting@nmdp.org to reserve your spot.
