My son, Justin, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on January 26, 2018. After being hospitalized for 47 days plus, battling through chemotherapy as well as other tests, treatments and therapies, we celebrate him being in full remission. Justin had a bone marrow transplant and my daughter, his older sister, Kimberly, was a perfect match. Kimberly donated the stem cells for his transplant on May 2, 2018.
Although Justin had a perfect, related match, siblings have a 1 in 4 chance of being a perfect match. Our team, All in for Justin, wants to help add potential bone marrow donors to the registry, help patients with transplant costs, and fund life-saving transplant research—providing cures to more patients. I am participating in this year’s Be The Match Walk+Run because it’s crucial to join the fight against blood cancer. Join me in helping raise funds to save more patients’ lives!
I've set a fundraising goal and I need your help to reach it.
The money I raise will:

Every 3 minutes someone is diagnosed with blood cancer.
Thousands of patients with blood cancers like leukemia or other diseases like sickle cell anemia, need a marrow transplant to survive. Most patients don’t have a fully matched donor in their family — and that’s when they turn to Be The Match®. By participating in a Be The Match Walk+Run, or donating funds, you are providing life-saving support to those patients in need. Join the fight.
