Lauren

Lauren

Lauren (above) was diagnosed with Acute T-Cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia just before her 2nd birthday. She fought hard, always with a smile on her face, through months of procedures and chemotherapy treatments, but that wasn't enough. Lauren's only hope for survival was a bone marrow transplant. Lauren's match was found through the Be The Match Registry®, and after her transplant and a few months of recovery, she is now cancer free. Sarah and Neil, Lauren's family members, have started Team Lala to honor Lauren and raise critical funds to support Be The Match and provide more cures for patients like Lauren.

Lachlan

Lachlan was a fun loving two-year-old from Seneca, SC. Lachlan had juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML). Over 27 events held in Lachlan's honor resulted in 2,694 people joining the national registry and some of those donors have been contacted as potential matches for other searching patients. Even though Lachlan left us far too early, his legacy and impact will continue to be felt for many years to come.
