The Second-Annual Marrow Week is Coming to Northwestern! 

From May 23 to May 26, MARO for Marrow will once again bring engaging events and marrow drives onto the Northwestern University campus. MARO's goal is to raise awareness about the lack of minorities on the marrow registry, and to subsequently hold marrow drives to place people onto the registry. MARO hopes to work with Northwestern to truly make a difference in the lives of thousands of men, women and children in need of a life-saving transplant. 

MARROW WEEK 2011:

Monday: Northwestern welcomes alumni Keith Alperin & Karen Stock back to campus! These presentations will be followed by a marrow drive. 5:15 PM in Kellogg Room G40 and 7:00 PM in Kellogg's Owen L. Coon Forum, both located on 2001 Sheridan Rd (Note location change).

Come hear Keith and Karen tell their inspirational story at an event that demonstrates the very essence of Purple Pride! In showcasing the unbelievable story of how one Northwestern student saved another Northwestern student's life, MARO is bringing 2 alumni back to campus!

 Tuesday & Wednesday: All-day campus-wide drives, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM! Come find us in one of these 5 locations: Foster-Walker Complex lobby, Sargent lobby, Hinman lobby, Norris ground floor, and the Kellogg Atrium! We will be here to answer any questions and to guide you through a simple, 5-minute cheek swab!

Thursday: All-day drive, 11:30 AM - 6:30 PM, Kellogg Atrium
