Caretti's Helping Hands: Bone Marrow Donor Drive
Help Joey Caretti find a bone marrow donor!
Joey Caretti is an 11 year old boy, who recently battled a very rare brain cancer. He rang the bell on 11-11-11, to symbolize the end of chemo. He and his family were elated. Friends cheered. Then the bubble burst when over the next few weeks Joey got weaker and very tired. Testing and a biopsy show that he now has a second cancer - leukemia. Joey now faces more chemo, and a bone marrow transplant. Joey was recently featured on Fox 2 news in Detroit.
